The treatment uses the patient’s own bone-marrow stem cells and is performed in the United States by a licensed medical provider. The provider reviews the Veteran’s records, collects and prepares the cells, then administers them by IV and intranasal delivery.

Medical eligibility, risks, expected outcomes, and follow-up care are determined by the provider.

  • Medical Review

    The provider reviews the Veteran’s history, symptoms, prior treatment, and lab work before scheduling the procedure.

  • U.S.-Based Procedure

    The treatment is performed in the United States by a licensed medical provider using the patient’s own stem cells.

  • Bone Marrow Collection

    Stem cells are collected from the patient’s own bone marrow, typically from the hip bone.

  • Treatment And Release

    The cells are prepared, concentrated, and administered by IV and intranasal delivery under the provider’s care.
