About Blastology Foundation

Blastology Foundation is a Virginia-based nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Our mission is to help veterans of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) affected by blast-related traumatic brain injury (TBI) access advanced stem cell treatment.

How Donations Are Used

Donations to Blastology Foundation are used to fund advanced stem cell treatments for eligible veterans.

Treatment payments are made directly to the treating medical provider. Blastology Foundation does not administer medical treatment or make clinical treatment decisions.

Veterans are selected for financial assistance based on the foundation's eligibility criteria and available funding. Medical eligibility and treatment decisions are determined independently by the treating physician.

Fundraising Campaigns

Blastology Foundation may organize fundraising campaigns to cover the treatment costs of an individual veteran.

If a campaign raises more than the amount needed for one veteran's treatment, additional contributions will be used to fund advanced stem cell treatments for other eligible veterans, consistent with any donor restrictions accepted by the foundation.

If a designated veteran is unable to proceed with treatment, the foundation may use the funds to support treatment for another eligible veteran, subject to applicable law and any donor restrictions.

Donation Processing

Online donations are processed securely through Zeffy and its payment-processing partners.

Donors may review Zeffy's applicable terms and privacy policies for information about payment processing and personal data.

Tax-Deductible Contributions

Blastology Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Donors should retain their donation receipts for tax purposes and consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

Donation Refunds

If a donation was made in error or you have questions about a contribution, please contact Blastology Foundation.

Refund requests are reviewed individually in accordance with applicable law and payment-processing requirements.

Treatment Outcomes

A donation supports access to advanced stem cell treatment but does not guarantee a particular medical outcome.

Stem cell treatments for traumatic brain injury remain investigational and are not FDA-approved for the treatment of TBI.
